ICSIE Author Guideline
Please note that authors should follow every step of the conference. For the necessary document requirements, please carefully read the following guidelines.
- Step 1: Authors must submit their abstracts through the Morressier Call for Abstract platform. The conference committee will then evaluate the submissions and notify authors whose abstracts have been accepted for presentation. Further instructions will be provided regarding the upload of required documents and presentation materials.
- Step 2: Accepted abstracts must be uploaded to the Morressier platform for peer review before they can be considered for publication in the proceedings. In certain cases, authors may also be asked to submit a full paper in .doc or .docx format.
Abstract Submission
1. Abstract Preparation:
- Abstract must be written in English.
- Ensure the topic aligns with ICSIE scope.
- Accepted file types: .doc or .docx.
- Use the official ICSIE abstract format (Download Abstract Template).
2. Abstract Submission:
- Submit your abstract via the Morressier platform.
- Ensure that all required fields and forms are properly filled out.
Full Paper Submission
Please ensure that you adhere to the following guidelines, as failure to comply may result in your paper being rejected for publication in the proceedings:
- Submitted manuscripts must be original and should not have been published previously or be under review for publication elsewhere.
- All papers must be written in clear, proper English. To maintain quality, we strongly recommend using a professional proofreading service to eliminate grammatical and spelling errors.
- Manuscripts must follow the ICSIE formatting guidelines. Please download the official template and guidelines from the ICSIE website. For reference, you may view examples of previously published papers here: IOP Conference Series Vol. 1495, Issue 1.
- The required manuscript length is between 6 and 10 pages.
- The similarity check (including references) must not exceed 25%, based on a plagiarism check.
- References must follow the numerical citation style as specified in the guidelines. We recommend using Mendeley Reference Manager or Zotero Reference Manager and installing the citation style “IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science.” You can access it via this link: IOP Citation Style.
- An author may only be listed on a maximum of two papers, regardless of authorship order.
- All full papers must be submitted in PDF format through the Morressier platform (https://hubspot.morressier.com/).
Review Process
All authors are invited to submit a full paper (6–10 pages) through the designated Moressier platform. The call for papers will be distributed widely to attract contributions from diverse institutions and regions.
Submitted papers will first undergo an initial screening by the editorial team to ensure alignment with the conference theme, Innovation for a Sustainable Future: Creating Environmental and Social Impact. This review considers aspects such as formatting compliance, title relevance, keyword composition in the abstract, coherence of content, and completeness of references. Papers are scored on a qualitative scale, and this phase follows a single-blind review format.
Selected submissions will move forward to a double-blind peer review process, where each paper will be evaluated based on the following eight criteria:
- Adherence to academic and scientific standards
- Clarity and readability
- Logical structure and alignment of justification, results, and writing style
- Contribution to the relevant field
- Relevance and topical interest
- Coherence and consistency of arguments
- Appropriateness of the methodology used
- Accuracy and reliability of results, evidence, and discussion
Authors of selected papers will be invited to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer feedback. Final evaluations will consider the quality of the revisions and the extent to which feedback was addressed. A curated selection of the highest-quality papers will be compiled and published in the official proceedings.
Publication Fee
Details regarding the publication fee will be provided at a later time.
